AMAZING
“Two years ago, I began singing professionally in Phoenix Arizona. I finally decided recently to form my own rock cover band, The Hitmen. My band was picking up momentum, and I found it harder and harder to find time to memorize all the lyrics to four, forty-five minute sets. Browsing the internet, I found the Wolfgang TELEMONITOR. After some review, I purchased Gord’s [Wolfgang] product, and it was promptly delivered. I laugh a bit when I tell you that I called Gord about eight times. You see, I don’t follow directions very well. Gord always picked up the phone, and patiently walked me through the set up process. I’ve now used my TELEMONITOR on stage, and it is amazing. My confidence shows through in my performance. Just knowing that my lyrics are clearly available if I need to view them, brings out my energy when I perform. I highly suggest that both amateur and professional live singers consider buying this product. It was money well spent.

PLAYING AGAIN
“I’m in love. I’m playing again! I (was) looking for this (type of) device for a few years … I downloaded programs to try to build a prompter but always went back to sheet music. I hated it. You can’t stand up and play freely like I used to. Now I can stand up, move around and even look like I might know the words!
Its so easy to try new songs. I … find lyrics … load it on to the teleprompter and try the song. If I don’t like it or can’t do it justice, delete! It’s gone never to haunt me again … if it works and I learn it well, I drag it into my current performance file and its in the line up. I … use(d) bifocals … was looking through the top of my glasses (but it was the wrong focal length for the TELEMONITOR) so I got a pair of glasses that were tailored to focus the distance I stand from the monitor. I also now use these same glasses to use my regular computer. I don’t have to get one foot from the screen. I can sit back and relax. Side benefit!

BRILLIANT
“…the telemonitor is absolutely brilliant – such an excellent piece of equipment. Being the lead singer of a jam band for 20 years, I don’t know how I have survived without it. In a situation like mine, we don’t use set lists, and call tunes on-the-fly. With a musician-friendly crowd, the pressure is on me to get the lyrics right every time, on every tune. 130+ tunes has historically made that task a daunting one. Your telemonitor is the ultimate stage-reference for a lead vocalist, especially on those deep-cut tunes that haven’t been played in a while. BATTERY BACKUP IS A MUST
“Love the unit!!! Its like a safety blanket for me. I was able dig deep into the archives and pull off a song live, that we never did as a group, it was (Journey To The Center Of The Mind) in front of 5,000 people the crowd loved it and didn’t have a clue the words were on stage.
I would also recommend spending the extra money for the Battery Backup this saved my A$$ 3 times. We have done 5 outdoor gigs this summer and the sound crew had a technical issue’s they had to reset the power breaker’s at 3 of the gigs we have done unfortunately my Telemonitor was tied to that breaker but the backup battery power in the telemonitor chugged along until the issue was resolved. I would recommend Wolfgang to all bands.This tool has helped me perform songs I haven’t sang in years its a must have for me now.”

TELEMONITOR FITS THE BILL
“We were looking for a teleprompter for the Susan G. Komen “Imagine a Cure” benefit here in Seattle. It’s an annual benefit that boasts tons of talented guests singing John Lennon tunes. This year was the biggest of all as there were some very big names (Roger Daltrey-The Who; Spike Edney and Jamie Moses-Queen to name a few).
We finally decided that we’d need a prompter to help each artist with lyrics since last year we had some hiccups not to mention music stands are frustrating and gaudy. Not only did the Telemonitor fit the bill for what we needed but we decided at the last minute to get another for the other side of the stage for the choruses and to keep everyone in the loop.
I was deemed “lifesaver” of the show which is a great compliment though Gordon should be the recipient. As stated by others, it’s very easy to use and easy to travel. The price is good, too. We were going to rent a teleprompter but found that $900 for one day is a rip-off.
Gordon (inventor) is an amazing musician who knows what a musician really needs for stage and will help you “tech it out” if you have any problems. I made ours wifi (so that I can download more content for it as well as make it easier to transfer songs via email), I purchased a cd-rom to add new software/hardware, and will be using PowerPoint as an interface for the next show. I used both black with white letters and white with black letters. The later was the winner among the musicians using it.
I was able to control everything back stage-the pros don’t like to be responsible for flipping through the pages on stage-and ended up using a third pc monitor with 50ft VGI cable and 50 feet worth of USB cables with signal boosters to do it. Needless to say, we got pretty busy using it within a day of receiving it.
I’ll be adding scrolling software in the near future to experiment with for next year but as it stands, it’s a solid tool for the stage. The Telemonitor is very versatile which makes it good for all ranges of user abilities. And like I said, if you get stuck, you can call Gordon. We did rock on.

PLAYED SOME OLD STUFF
“I found the telemonitor to be everything it was advertised to be and then some! It is so easy to use that when I received mine (packaged very nicely for shipping) I used it on our very next gig! Easy to load, easy to use, easy to read, just plain easy! I am the lead singer in our band and that first time out we did songs we had never played out before because I had the lyrics in front of me as well as we did some of our older stuff! It’s size is perfect for the stage as it really looks like one of the monitors! Everything is self contained so that once you have it loaded you just simply plug it in and jam! This is a real problem solver for me! What a relief to know every song is right at my feet! This tool really opens up our options when we play now!
